Magna Hospitality Group LC announced today that the Holiday Inn Plantation located at 1711 University Drive has been converted to a Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites.

The former Holiday Inn Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation/Sawgrass in South Florida has been divided into two parcels and sold by Plantation Hotel Associates, L.L.C. to become a Cendant Hotel property and a Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites.

The new Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Plantation/Sawgrass has 154 guest rooms and suites, and features complimentary continental Stay Smart breakfast, complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel, meeting space, business center and a swimming pool to open later this spring.
